Hi guys! I gotta admit, October was not a good reading month for me. I only read two of the books that I had on my TBR, honestly what a travesty. This month I decided to keep it realistic and only put three books on my TBR this month. 1) because I’m participating in NaNoWriMo and working a lot 2) one of the books on my list is about 3 books in one!
“Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary.” – Jim Rohn
11/22/63 – Stephen King
I’m so excited to finally tackle this book! I got it for my birthday which is in July, so I’ve been putting it off for a couple months. It took me about three months to get through IT, but I was also in college at the time, so maybe this one won’t take me as long to get through! All I know about this book is that it has to do with someone traveling back and forth in time to try to stop the assassination of JFK. I love time travel plots so I’m excited about this one!
Einstein’s Dreams – Alan Lightman
This book was gifted to me by my best friend, also for my birthday. I remember one of my professors praising it. I believe it’s a collection of stories, all fictional dreams that Einstein had while creating the theory of relativity. I have a feeling I’m going to love this one.
The Word is Murder – Anthony Horowitz
Okay…Ya got me. This book was on my October TBR and I didn’t have time to get to it. I really feel like I’m gonna love it, so I decided to try again this month! In case you didn’t see my post last month, this book follows a detective trying to solve a murder case. But the case is a peculiar one, seeing as the victim had arranged her own funeral only six hours before being strangled.
Have you guys read any of these books?? If so, what were your thoughts?
